| Notes: | At some point between 1891 and 1901 Robert joined the Essex Regiment and was found on the 1901 Census in Colchester, a corporal. He left before 1911 as he was back home by then. Although no service record has been found for Robert, he is given as a casualty in The Great War, dying in 1916. |
